Scuba Diver in Reef

 

PADI Open Water Diver

Duration: 3 – 4 Days

Prerequisites: None

Swimming Skills: Required

Min. Age: 10 years for Junior OW Diver / 15 years for OW Diver

Max. Depth: 12 mtrs for Junior OW (Age 10-11)/ 18 mtrs for OW (Age 12+)

 

Itinerary

 

Day

01

You start with theory along with videos on the first day, followed by a swim or snorkel test

 

Day

02

You finally get to cool your heels in the water while you learn confined water skills and go for your first OW training dive.

03

 

It comprises the second round of confined water skills and the second OW training dive.

 

Day

04

The last day is the jackpot because BOAT DIVE! You will go on the boat to two off-shore dive sites to complete your Open Water dives 3 & 4. The course will end with a final exam.

Locations and activities, we will be doing

1. Evening Kayaking with a guide. 

Watch the sun go down with rainforest views while you paddle through the mangroves and see various animals and marine life.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2. Radhanagar Beach is often called one of the best beaches in Asia and the world. In 2004, Time magazine named it the best beach in Asia. The beach is known for its white sand, turquoise waters, and lush green surroundings. It's also known for its spectacular sunsets.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

3. Neil’s Cove is a splendid lagoon that is formed by enclosed coral reefs and lush green vegetation. It lies northwest of Radhanagar Beach. It is a secluded sight where you can also witness the wild side of the sea. Neil’s Cove is a gem of sheltered sand and crystalline water owing to its fantastic teal lagoon. This place is perfect for you if you are looking to spend some quality time at a secluded and idyllic place on Havelock Island. It is an ideal blend of gorgeous vistas and fabulous sea. 4. Night Herping with a Naturalist:

A night with a naturalist, and herpetologist on the ground in the Andaman with Nariman Vazifdar. Will take us around the island to show venomous snakes in their natural environment. From various venomous to non-Venomous Snakes and also variety of reptiles and marine creatures.
